OUR NEXT Summer Drama Camp

 Theme: What's YOUR STORY

Attendees will receive a 2021 designed camp tee, and are provided snacks and lunch every day. Campers choose one primary track focus: Lighting and Sound Technology, Dance, or Acting. In addition everyone gets hands-on clinics in make-up application and props/scenery. We teach ALL ABOUT theater workings, and there's always surprise guests and events during the week! We'll hold an audition for three vocal selections to add to our Camp Show, which showcases what the attendees learned all week! The show also includes original skits by campers, dance numbers and a one act play! Camp Show tickets are just $5. Cost: $60 per applicant, $50 for each additional in the immediate family.  Applications can be obtained by calling 434.376.2461 and are available at 246 The Main during business hours. Questions? 2020 Kick-off guest is Dave Trouten, Professor and Drama Professor at Kingswood University, in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada. Dave has trained students for many years in theater arts, and is a writer of fine stage plays as well, having written A Message From Jacob Marley which was performed at 246 The Main a few years ago. We are EXCITED to have him share his talent, knowledge, and special brand of humor with us this coming summer!! We promise you're going to like this guy!
